He has worked in the construction industry ever since his graduation from North St. Paul High School, where he was active in sports and student affairs. Michael received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Navy as a Shipfitter: naturally a construction-related rank. Mr. Johnson is well-suited, extensively qualified, and ideally positioned to successfully guide and lead the company. He has cultivated strong relationships with government officials and local regulatory agencies.
Michael has on-the-job experience in plan review, structural inspection, mechanical inspection, electrical inspection, masonry, plumbing, heating and conditioning and building codes and standards. He has managed and supervised contracts from initial conception through to final occupancy: project design, development, government negotiation (PCA, DNR, ADA), zoning, permits, soil management, bidding, scheduling, material acquisition, subcontracting, vendor control, site safety, inspections and job administration.
